Our Story

Roger, the owner of Majestic Sheep Breeders, has always enjoyed breeding sheep, and looks forward to Spring each year when his new lambs are born. When Roger and his wife Justine first became aware of the Valais Blacknose and Aussie White breeds, they fell in love and decided to begin breeding them.

Roger and Justine are perfectionists who strive for excellence in everything they do. By sourcing top genetics and stock from the Valais Blacknose and Aussie White breeds, Majestic Sheep Breeders guarantees the quality of their stock and semen.

Their ultimate goal is to provide the best service and genetics to their clients, and they've always stated they wouldn't sell anything to a client they wouldn't be happy to purchase themselves!

More About Us

Aussie Whites have two key points of difference from any other breed of sheep in New Zealand

Aussie Whites are non-polyestrous - they are sexually active all year around and can be mated at any time. Lambing three times in two years is easily achievable.

Aussie Whites meat has a low-fat melting point and they are commonly compared to Wagyu Beef meat. In Australia, lamb meat producers are being paid a premium for AW lambs over other traditional meat-breed lambs.
